Between September 21st and 23rd, the Iminente festival returns to the Matinha area, in Lisbon, with a program that includes concerts, performances, and conversations in an open-air gallery.

Between September 21st and 23rd, the Iminente festival returns to the Matinha area, in Lisbon, with a program that includes concerts, performances, and conversations in an open-air gallery. Over 150 artists make up the Iminente program, which includes the artist Alexandre Farto (Vhils), one of the festival founders. The festival director, Carla Cardoso, highlights “the names that will come to give visibility to all the others”: Yasiin Bey, formerly Mos Def, Sam The Kid, with orchestra and Orelha Negra, Sister Nancy, and B2B with Batida and Bonga. The musical performances will be distributed over the Gasómetro, Choque, and Fábrica stages. The visual arts program includes, among others, Vhils, ±maismenos±, Rita Ravasco, Vanessa Barragão, Kampus, Noah Zagalo, Superlinox, Unidigrazz, Fidel Évora, João Fortuna, Filipa Bousset, and Tiago Hesp. The festival will also present the results of the workshops being developed between June and September in four Lisbon neighborhoods: Alta de Lisboa, Bairro do Rego, Vale de Alcântara, and Vale de Chelas. This edition will also include “Talks” about the city, sustainability, art and culture.
