Galerie Cécile Fakhoury is pleased to participate in the 10th edition of Investec Cape Town Art Fair in Cape Town, South Africa. For the fair’s 10 years anniversary, Galerie Cécile Fakhoury will present a special project by artists Rachel Marsil and Elladj Lincy Deloumeaux.

Both working around portraiture and its symbolic significance in history, the two artists share their sensibility for topics such as the transmission of memory, intimate affirmations of identities, and the questioning of social constructions. The booth is built as the result of a four-handed collaboration. It operates as a space suspended in time, literally trapped between sky and earth, and conceived to favor daydreaming and contemplation.
