AFIRIKA ARTFEST is an exhibition that brings together several visual artists, like painters, photographers, street artists, architects, etc., in different locations in Paris, this year’s host city. The exhibition, on view between March 11 and 26, aims to discover the impressive know-how of African talents.

AFIRIKA ARTFEST is an exhibition path dedicated to contemporary art from Africa. This path has been imagined as a complete experience to discover the impressive knowledge of Afro-descendant talents.

“We are enough” is the answer to collective and personal introspection. It is a call to deconstruct some stigmas that constitute contemporary African societies. A reflection that pushes the visitor to understand the impulses and limiting beliefs that prevent us from “dreaming big”. This edition has been thought as a process of emancipation initiated and highlighted by the creations of the selected artists.

AFIRIKA ARTFEST team includes Cyril Thezenas as co-founder and project manager, Roger Niyigena Karera as co-founder and curator, and Baptiste Rougeot as scenographern and graphic designer.
