Lulama Wolf, born in 1993, is a visual artist who lives and works in Johannesburg, South Africa. Wolf’s work reflects her identity, including abstraction, curiosity, mythology, spirituality, and introspection. She emphasizes the importance of blackness in her art and seeks to express her yearning for answers and clarity. She creates a unique and evolving artistic practice through experimentation with different textures and molds.

Mmangaliso Nzuza was born in 1998 in Empangeni, South Africa. Having grown up in a conservative environment, Nzuza turned to art to explore their intricate inner world. Starting with pencil and charcoal, the artist eventually gravitated towards oil painting, drawn to its depth and textured nuances. Driven by personal experiences, Nzuza delves into anxiety, isolation, and dissociation themes. Through deliberate use of color and vivid forms, the artist’s work serves as a medium for self-reflection and understanding the self and others.

THK Gallery is a dynamic contemporary art gallery in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa, with an experimental space in Cologne, Germany. It contributes to the contemporary art discourse by showcasing, to a global audience, art that presents alternative perspectives and aesthetics.
