Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery presents ‘Where The Wild Roses Grow’, their third summer exhibition at Schloss Görne, Germany, on display until August 13th.

The gallery hosts an annual exhibition in an 18th-century castle, inspired by a song by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Kylie Minogue. The exhibition pays tribute to the wild environment and the transformative capabilities of art. Schloss Görne, once untouched for three decades, has been revitalized into a lively center of culture, where art blends with nature. Artists were given the task to create fresh work inspired by a song or piece of music.

Zemba Luzamba (b. 1973, in Democratic Republic of the Congo), Chidinma Nnoli (b. 1998, in Nigeria), Kelechi Nwaneri (b. 1994, in Nigeria), and Kwadwo A. Asiedu (b. 1987, in Ghana) make part of the group of various artists participating this year.

Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery showcases emerging and established international artists with strong theoretical and aesthetic foundations, valuing multicultural curatorial approach and global connections.
