African Arty presents ‘And Beyond’, a group exhibition, on display until December 31st.
African Arty, the largest art gallery in Casablanca and founded by Jacques-Antoine Gannat, has opened its 500m² exhibition space, “Au-Delà…”, in the new business district. The gallery features an exhibition area and an artist-in-residence studio, aiming to showcase diverse artistry across the African continent.
The exhibition, ‘And Beyond’, features thirteen artists, including Ana Silva, Ghizlane Sahli, Kpe Innocent, Massoud Hayoun, Nedia Were, Penda Diakite, Themba Khumalo, Tsoku Maela, and Victorien Bazo, each bringing unique perspectives and methodologies, ranging from figurative and abstract painting to landscape art, photography, and embroidery on fabric canvases.
The permanent venue is designed for showcasing art and nurturing talent through ongoing residencies. The gallery will host discussions, book signings, and presentations, as well as educational initiatives for students and schoolchildren.
African Arty aims to be more than just a gallery; it seeks to be a cultural nexus, inviting a diverse audience to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of African artistry.
