The architect in focus for the month of August is Guillaume Koffi (Gagnoa, Ivory Coast, 1959)
Guillaume Koffi, a renowned architect with a D.E.S.A. degree from the École Spéciale d’Architecture de Paris, has over three decades of experience in architectural design and managing significant projects across Africa.
He co-founded Koffi & Diabaté Architectes in 2001, which expanded to include urban development and diversified subsidiaries focused on architecture, real estate development, and construction.
Koffi has shared his insights at global forums and in publications like Les Débats du Monde Afrique, Université Paris Dauphine, and Forbes Afrique. He presided over the National Order of Architects of Côte d’Ivoire from 2006 to 2014 and initiated the ARCHIBAT exhibition in 2007.
Koffi also serves as a Social and Economic Councillor and Secretary for Arts and Culture at the Académie des Sciences, des Arts, des Cultures d’Afrique et des Diasporas (ASCAD). His contributions have earned him recognition as an Officer of the National Order and a Knight of the Order of Cultural Merit.
