At the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, the Ethiopia Pavilion returns with a powerful new presentation, Shapes of Silence, a major exhibition by Addis Ababa–born artist Tegene Kunbi. Curated by Abebaw Ayalew and commissioned by Demitu Hambisa Bonsa, the show marks Ethiopia’s second appearance at the prestigious global art platform, following its 2024 debut.

The Bahamas Pavilion presents In Another Man’s Yard: John Beadle, Lavar Munroe, and the Spirit of (Posthumous) Collaboration, curated by Dr. Krista Thompson, for the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. The exhibition takes place at San Trovaso Art Space in Dorsoduro, close to both Accademia and Zattere.

Let's collaborate

We are always looking for new partnerships that will help us promote African and Afro-descendant artists. We believe in the power of synergies, so if you are an artist yourself, a curator, a gallery, a journalist, or an art institution, talk to us.
