The 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair returns to Somerset House this October for its 13th London edition, bringing together over fifty galleries from across Africa and the diaspora. This prominent platform for contemporary African art presents both established and emerging artists, offering a comprehensive view of current creative practice across the continent and its wider communities.

Alongside gallery presentations, this edition of 1-54 London features a curated Caribbean Spotlight, Special Projects, and collaborations with Christie’s, INFINIMENT COTY PARIS, and new Lead Partner Afreximbank. Visitors can engage with a dynamic programme of talks, partner events, and special commissions, providing opportunities to encounter new artistic voices and consider global dialogues in art, culture, and identity.
The fair opens on 16 October with a press and VIP preview and will welcome the public from 17 to 19 October at Somerset House, London.
