Aldo Chaparro is a Peruvian-Mexican artist whose works explore form through void, matter and the human body using quick processes to transform prefabricated materials into unique objects. In this occasion, we will present paintings and wooden sculptures. His works are part of major collections including those of Simon de Pury (London), Pierre Huber, the Jumex Foundation, Domenico de Sole Chairman of the Board of Sotheby’s, and the Perez Art Museum in Miami.
Originally from Kenya, Thandiwe Muriu’s photography showcases Africa’s vibrant textiles, cultural practices, and beauty ideologies, creating surreal illusions that challenge identity and self-perception through the use of materials like fabric and household items. Muriu’s work is already represented in major private and public collections globally, including Fondation Gandur in Switzerland, UHODA Collection in Belgium, The Contemporary African Art Collection by Pigozzi, the Hood Museum, and it has recently been part of the WAX Exhibition at the Musée de l’Homme in Paris.
