JUSTIN EBANDA: Inaugural Exhibition “Humanity and Collective Memory”
15 January – 6 March 2026. Monday to Friday, 2 PM – 5 PM
Alliance Française Strasbourg Europe – 12 Rue des Pontonniers, 67000 Strasbourg – France
We are proud to open our 2026 program with a powerful and necessary exhibition by artist Justin Ebanda. The Other’s Share – Humanity and Collective Memory is a visual prose of Cameroonian history. Through a body of work combining painting, photography, video performance, and installation, the artist invites us to lift the opaque veil that obscures a vital and precious part of Cameroon’s memory. This exhibition is an act of recognition — of voices long denied, of erased knowledge, practices, and sacred traditions.
It explores three essential forces: repair, purification, healing.
Presented within the Cameroonian Weeks, this artistic proposal stands as a gesture of dignity, symbolic reparation, and rewriting of forgotten narratives. We warmly invite you to discover this committed and resonant body of work.
