Neuza Faria (b.1983, Lisbon, Portugal) is an art curator, producer, and executive coordinator with a wealth of experience in the international art scene, particularly within the realms of contemporary art, education, and cultural event production. With a strong academic foundation and a diverse professional background spanning across several countries, including Portugal, England, Japan, and Sweden.
Neuza holds a master’s degree in Curating, Including Art, Management and Law from Stockholm University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree with honours in Criticism, Communication, and Curating of Arts and Design from Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, University of the Arts London.
Her early career included significant work at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, as well as at INDEX - The Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation in Stockholm.
Neuza is now the coordinator of the project ArtMEXTO and the director of the non-profit association WAAU – World African Artists United.
