Our Basel fair brings the international artworld together. It features over 200 leading galleries and more than 4,000 artists from five continents. Many high-quality exhibitions take place concurrently in and around Basel, creating a region-wide art week.

Art Basel’s show is divided into sectors. Each sector has a specific focus, from monumental works to solo presentations by emerging artists.

Galleries
Galleries is the fair’s main sector, where works by Modern masters neighbor pieces by the world’s most prestigious contemporary artists and young talents.

Unlimited
Unlimited, curated by Ruba Katrib, is our sector for monumental projects that transcend the classical art fair booth.

Feature
Feature is the sector for precisely curated, historical presentations by 20th-century artists.

Statements
Statement focuses on bold solo projects by emerging artists.

Premiere
Premiere focuses on recent artistic production and shows precisely curated projects, such as the presentation of a single artist and exhibitions presenting up to three artists within a curatorial concept.

Edition
Edition is the sector for editioned works, prints, and multiples.

Kabinett
Kabinett features curated selections presented by galleries in a special section of their booth, including thematic group exhibitions, art-historical showcases and solo presentations.

Parcours
Parcours is the sector for site-specific works located on and around Clarastrasse connecting fairgrounds to the Rhine.

Magazines
In the Magazines sector, visitors were able to browse and take home international art publications.
