Founded by Trevyn and Julian McGowan, Southern Guild has spent nearly two decades cultivating an ecosystem where artists, makers and thinkers work in dialogue.
Following an experimental period in Los Angeles, this new space signals permanence and renewed ambition. The opening programme introduces US solo debuts by Mmangaliso Nzuza and Usha Seejarim, whose practices explore form, memory and the politics of everyday life.
A considered arrival at a cautious moment, this is a story of artistic continuity, exchange and growth.
